Fund Raise

Daily Prompt’s asking the question, “What could I do more of?” and the answer is simple. Ask for donations!

So here I am asking for yours. Please, if you can spare it, drop what you can in my PayPal link. If we all begin helping one another out in life, it will become much more manageable.

For nearly three years I’ve been at this for free. But the costs for a plan to get my words out on the internet in a minimal form are over $100 a year. A couple plugins are extra, and the business plan I’m on is $300 a year.

I’ve never charged anyone in my ‘Meet Me‘ articles a cent. Nor have I paid for an interview. And there have been times when they’ve asked, and I turned them down. I’ve done that out of love and kindness because most of them are friends.

I write about different topics as well. From mental health, cancer, it’s testing and treatments. Plus a few adventures I go on as well. I could be charging readership fees, but I refuse to go there.

Reading should be free! Because if I can help someone with any of my stories on cancer, its fight, heart disease, mental health or some other silly little tidbit that can make them smile in their time of need; I’m happy for them. Hell, one of those smiles may have been given to you and it’s been well worth it.

But the bottom line is upkeep. And it’s getting tough in this economy doing it alone.
