Krispy Kreme

Get a load of my new hat! My ‘Wall of Hats’ is no more but I still snag the BEST ones (damn adulting is hard). And Krispy Kreme is by far the best!

I’ve still got some BOGO coupons that I purchased from a young lady years ago. They were part of a school fundraiser. Yesterday a friend and I decided to take a road trip and put one to good use. He said don’t spend so much. I bought it anyway! 🤣🤣🤣

Election

I’m tired of asking myself what the hell is wrong with America. There’s only one answer and it’s ‘money.’ Everyone wants more, shit even me. But the problem is the rich get richer as they never have enough. And it happens at that expense of the not so well off.

Political Ads

Glad they’re over. So, I’ll only touch on a couple the networks agreed to run for 45 soon to be 47.

Proof it’s money, when they ran ‘they, them’ vs ‘us’ transgender ad for him. ‘Deplorable,’ for sure.

Or the ‘she’s had four years to secure the boarder’ ad. Well fuck, he was in charge for four years prior and she was just VP. Why didn’t he do it. Oh, that’s right, he couldn’t shift enough money from military funding for his wall because it was illegal. And then Mexico said, ‘they wouldn’t pay.’ Seriously did you believe him when he said they would?

Enough politics, but God help US the next four years.

Fun Stuff

I never wrote about the two performances of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra events I attended. Rest assured they’ll never be forgotten and I’m sorry I can’t post complete videos of them. I don’t want bickering over the videos by organizers over copyrights. So, I’ll add just two short clips here. Hopefully that won’t break any laws. And if they do, I’ll freely remove as they’re definitely not being posted for profit.

Music of Star Wars

I was mesmerized by the orchestra’s performance here. While listening to some of the softer melodies from composer John Williams, I closed my eyes. I felt fully relaxed, as if I were falling asleep in joy.

There’s more than a single reason anyone would love Star Wars. I found another this day.

Music of the Knights

This was dedicated to ‘Knighted’ musicians Elton John, Paul McCartney and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

What an event and a big tribute to one of my favorite artists of all time, Elton John. Who actually liked one of my Instagram posts of this event.

If you’ve never been to see an orchestra it’s a must add to your to do list. It’s enjoyable, peaceful, relaxing and just fun.

Movies

This past Friday I attended the local premiere of ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.’ I received a pass from Lions Gate Entertainment. Trust me when I say the free viewing did not weight in of my opinion of the movie. It is FANTASTIC and a must see for the entire family.

I was surprised when one of the first characters to speak was ‘Ollie Herdman.’ Talk about synchronicities! The universe hit the target!

Some adults need take heed to the Herdman kids and learn a little more love this holiday season.

Going to be attending the opening of ‘Wicked‘ staring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, in a couple weeks. I’ve been waiting for this movie to come out since its announcement over a year ago.
