If I had to give one life-changing tip, it would be this:
Don’t wait for the “right time” to live your life.
For years, I told myself I’d do certain things when life settled down-when my health improved, when circumstances were easier. But life has a way of reminding us that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
Living with heart disease and cancer has taught me that the perfect moment rarely arrives. There will always be another challenge, another reason to put things off, another excuse to wait.
Take the trip. Call the friend. Forgive someone. Start writing. Watch the sunset. Tell the people you love that you love them.
Life isn’t measured by how long we’re here. It’s measured by how fully we embrace the time we’ve been given.
So, if you’re waiting for a sign, this is it.
Start living today.
