This past Monday I attended the Detroit Auto Show at Huntington Place in Downtown Detroit. While there I had the opportunity to check out Team Cadillac’s new Formula 1 race car.

This specific car won’t be used in any Formula 1 races; however, it will be used as a test vehicle for the Cadillac Team. They’ll be checking its aerodynamics and performance during a private test in Barcelona.

Etched on the nose of the General Motors product are the names of everyone involved in its design.

The car will be on display throughout the show which ends on January 25th and is currently open to the public.

General Motors will reveal the final car in, this, their inaugural season of F1 racing during Superbowl LX on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
