This past Wednesday I had a cardiologist appointment and an ICD checkup. As I sat in the waiting room, I realized I only had pics of Doc, and I while I was lying on a hospital bed after various surgeries and procedures. I’ve been seeing Doc now for the better part of twenty-one years. Damn, I thought it’s about time I got a good shot.

After all, I’ve gotten pics of the staff and techs that I’ve saw in his office on numerous occasions.

When we first met, I remember looking up at him while I was rolled into surgery for my first ICD in ’05. He looked young at the time, like me. Now I feel like we’ve grown up together.

He’s changed my defibrillator 3 of the 4 times its’ been required. Only an insurance sanfu stopped that missing one. But I went right back to seeing him afterwards. He’s, also, the only doc I’ve trusted with the half dozen or so other heart procedures I’ve needed along the way as well.

Here’s to another 21 years Doc and thank you for all you do!
