They’re creepy and they’re kooky

Double dipping its purpose here, but when Daily Prompt ask for my favorite emoji ❤️, I had to also tag it as my last live performance too.

Yesterday I was invited to attend an afternoon performance of The Addams Family musical and thoroughly enjoyed it. For all you fans of musicals and groupies’ of 1964 television show it’s a definite must see.

I won’t go into a lengthy review but will say the show centers around Gomez (Rodrigo Aragon) and daughter Wednesday’s (Melody Munitz) relationship as she has fallen in love with a young man named Lucas (David Eldridge) and has become engaged. Gomez’s promise to keep her secret until the couple release their plans is put to the test with wife Morticia (Renee Kathleen Koher) as they NEVER keep secrets from one another and attribute this to their long successful marriage.

That is until Morticia finds out and insists the family ‘play the game‘ of ‘Full Disclosure‘ when Lucus’ family comes to dinner. Now the real fun begins.

The entire cast of characters of the original television show makes an appearance including Cousin It and Thing. The singing is fabulous and storyline easy to follow as all families encounter a similar challenge of trust through life.
