Happy National Record Store Day…I know silly but before I signed in here, I checked what National Day it was and this came up.

Honestly, I couldn’t tell you the last time I had been in a record store. But I do recall the first and it brought back fond memories as a teenager.

I’ve never been much of a record fan but back in the day a dear friend asked me to go to our local record store with her. She proceeded to purchase Linda Ronstadt’s ‘Simple Dreams’ and gifted it to me on the spot. Seems she believed I needed a little refining. After all, ‘It’s So Easy,’ and I was missing what was happening around me.

Oh, how that memory brings smile to this day and if you’re reading this, I’ll always love you.
