Let’s See What’s in the Cards

I have problems believing in ‘hope’ thus I really don’t believe in tarot card readings. But I get their premise in life. Others do believe in that elusive four-letter word. It keeps them going day to day. To me life is about what you make it. You create your own destiny by your actions and deeds. It also depends on the friendships you make and cherish. Additionally, it includes those chosen for you to love.

I’ve had other card readers and seers follow me here and I suppose some are still around. When Alexandria followed it was different. I saw empathy in her comments. A sense of real concern for people. Now that’s something I can attach to.

I’ll be forgoing the customary ‘about me’ in the end. Instead, I will include what she told me when we first met now. And leave you with a surprise ending. “I really like how you include so many different types of people and their gifts.” She had said of my stories.

And that’s what inspired me to write her story. Months later, when I inquired if she wanted to be in one of the ‘Meet Me’s’ here. She added, “Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your great network.”

You’re welcome, my friend!

Let’s Meet: Luna Healing

Background

From Santa Barbara, California, Alexandria tells me “I grew up with a family that owned a Moroccan restaurant. My stepdad was Moroccan. We had belly dancers the whole bit. It was very fun. My biological father is from El Salvador and my mom is. French Canadian Irish.”

She abruptly adds, “My childhood was up and down. I suffered at the hands of physical abuse when I was younger, and I have PTSD and anxiety from that.”

Life

What do you do for a living and what’s your homelife life?

I have an accounting certificate and work as an accountant at a firm. Going to get another certification this fall. I live by the beach so going to the beach is always one of my most favorite things to do. I love hiking and playing video games. I play Call of Duty and Fortnite.

Empath

Can you explain to my readers what an ‘empath’ is?

An empath is sometimes seen as a person who can feel people feelings without people telling them. They just know things intuitively.

Tarot Cards

How did you get into becoming a Tarot Card Reader? Was it a difficult career to learn? What or who inspired you most in this career direction?

I do tarot angel oracle readings on the side. I learned tarot on my own. I’m self-taught. I watched a lot of tarot videos on YouTube and picked it up pretty fast. I, also, did buy a book to study of course. I started buying card decks when I was 13 for personal use for years.

Luna Healing

I was about 28 that my cousin said I should do it for money, and I’ve been doing so since. I was drawn to my first deck of cards at a Borders store. My mom loved to read books so we would be in there for a while. I’d always go to the spiritual section and hang out there.

Readings

What’s a reading like?

LunaHealing9797

I do a lot of romance readings. I don’t like to feel as if I’m telling people what to do with their lives based on what some cards say. I ultimately give the power back to my clients and let them discover how wonderful they are and how much control they do have on their lives.

My Reading

Alexandria had already read several of my blogs and my own ‘Meet Me’ written by friend and therapist Agnes. So, I was well aware she knew enough about me before I asked her this question.

My Actual Cards, Drawn by Alexandria

Could you give me an impromptu reading for my readers?

Risky as it seemed, I asked, and Alexandria agreed and here’s her take on me.

“You had something that was going to work out, possibly. Then it didn’t. And there’s something here,” she went on, “about you or maybe it’s something you’re attracting. Some type of energy in your life that you need to do away with. Like accepting people that aren’t going to transform or it’s possibly you who’s refusing to transform or refusing to see something in yourself that keeps leading you to heartbreak. It could be you don’t show your emotions very much. You could be picking people in relationships and situations where they are not emotionally available. Or maybe you are doing that.”

“The judgement,” continues Alexandria, “is if you really want love in your life, it’s up to you. It’s some sort of transformation that’s not happening. You’re very detached at times. Very serious. Very much in your head and not very much into your emotions. I think, very possibly working on cooperation. Working to be cooperative and working on yourself.”

At the end of my reading, she tells me, “This is very general because I haven’t spoken to you, and I don’t know the actual situation. But something needs to heal here. To stick it out, to show your emotions. Maybe people think you take too long or you’re too much in your head.”

It’s a fact I spend too much time in my head. But when it came to writing about Alexandria it was a grand idea. She’s become one of the few with a surprise ‘How are you today” messages out of the blue and had a genuine sense of empathy. A trait well cherished in my book.

As for my reading I see and look inside myself daily and see much the same as the Oracle finds. Change has been in the works for some time now, but it doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time. So much time I hope you stick around for my upcoming ‘Meet Me’ with a Meditation Instructor scheduled for a September 7th release.
