Tripping
A lot of you answered my poll of where you thought I was headed on this late ‘Birthday Month’ excursion but only one of you answered correctly. And in full transparency, I asked her to answer knowing full well she knew my destination.
She is friend Kristyn Burtt, Hollywood Entertainment Reporter, Red Carpet Host and most importantly my go to tour guide for various cities. Plus, she once worked for Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura the former Governor of the state and knows her way around the city.
Why? Because who’s going to guess Minneapolis? Seriously? I wouldn’t have if I were you. Especially with the attached song to the poll and I wanted at least one correct response for something special to write about here before I depart. One of the few blogs set for a lead in and not typed blindly unscripted I’ve written here.
I must admit I was surprised at how many of you guessed Phoenix. I haven’t been back there since I left college. I’m just not a desert person.
Hollywood, perhaps in the future, if I can work out logistics with another friend living in L.A. on a Disneyland Adventure while I’m there.
And most certainly New York City is targeted but not till late this Fall when ‘The Rockettes’ schedule is out for Radio City Music Hall during the Christmas Holidays.
Minneapolis
Coming up from the land of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox (did you read it in grade school, I did) I’m looking forward to an interview with ‘The DJ and The Beerman’, a Tigers-Twins baseball game, Mexican Food from Chino Latino (recommended by Kristyn) and releasing a ‘Hummingbird’ with the ‘friendship bracelet’ I discovered around Mother’s Day.
