Nah, I won’t add the ‘single guy’ excuse here…or will I?

Ok, so that was a bit snarky of a headline, but the SEO liked it and I’ll run with anything over a 70 to start with and that rings in at 85. 😊

In all honesty I do try and practice self-care daily by not only attempting to eat healthy which is important to anyone in my condition, but working on my mind, body and soul as well. As having heart disease and recovering from radiation therapy for cancer, I’ve realized how short life can be. And I want to live because ‘I’m Alive’ and would very much like to stay so a bit longer.

I do take a host of supplements including iron tablets, multi-vitamins, potassium and magnesium, all of which have been suggested by my doctors. But please don’t do them because I do, make sure anything you take is cleared by YOUR doctors. All four of mine (primary, cardiologist, urologist and oncologist) work in conjunction with one another and are more like family to me and have stood by me through the ‘good and trying times’.

Last year my primary had suggested doing some yoga as a means of easing some anthric pain in my right hip. But not knowing a thing about yoga I turned to my friend Jennifer, on Instagram, and she pointed me in the right direction on YouTube. Give her a follow, she’s a wonderful writer and blogger and had instinctively been the first person to check in on me during the cancer treatment and continues to do so. You need friends like that in your corner.as it makes life more enjoyable.

Adriene, soft spoken and easily understandable, was my choice to workout with after viewing a few others. I’ve also been looking into meditation as well.

And to help ease the mental anguish I’ve turned to someone special. You can read about her in my therapy section on my website. Agnieszka had been following me on Instagram for a bit before I had actually taken notice what her credentials included. With a master’s degree in medical sciences and certifications in both RTT hypnotherapy and NLP coaching she’s become one of my most trusted souls on the planet and has worked with me on what can be best described as separation issues and is a wonderful therapist.
