I use them ‘Time after Time’

We all have our favorites when it comes to songs but how much stock do you put into the lyrics? If you’re following me on Instagram, you’ll notice I share ‘a lot’ of stories and posts with music. I believe my followers find them more interesting with songs attached and I do go lyric hunting before doing so.

As to never go ‘Song, Sung Blue,’ and not start ‘Weeping Like a Willow’ by running out, I have the ‘Shazam’ app downloaded on my cell and wherever I am out and a song I don’t know that is playing, I click it and it saves to my ever-growing list.

And it’s with this list I choose what to attach when I see you’ve been playing in your garden as you show off your ‘roses,’ or ‘flowers’ if you prefer, because ‘Every Garden Grows One.’ Keep posting your photos for all to see and ‘Time After Time’ I’ll look in as I enjoy them too

And never forget, if you’re caught up in circles and confusion and fall, ‘I’ll Be Waiting, Time After Time‘ and ‘I Will Catch You.’ Plus, if I could, I’d ‘Turn Back Time,’ and ‘Reach for the Stars’ and ‘I’d Give Them All to You’ so you wouldn’t be hurting if you are.

‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ that would stop me from helping a friend in need.

‘If You Need Me Call Me No Matter Where You Are’ and I’ll be ‘Right Here Waiting’ for you.

And when you get here, I’ll always say ‘You Ain’T Do No Wrong’ because you know ‘Know Right from Wrong.’

You don’t have to be a ‘Million Dollar Baby’ and I don’t have to take you to ‘Queen’s Gambit’ and show you ‘Around My Friends.’

Because we can just be ‘Friends.’ After all, ‘How Many of Us Have Them? ‘You know the ‘Ones We Can Depend On.’

A little fun write during this heatwave we’ve been going through here in the Midwest as going outdoors with heart disease isn’t too smart. I can hear my cardiologist telling me now ‘stay in’ with my primary doubling down on his words.

Don’t worry docs. ‘I’m Still Standing’ (Yes, they actually read my blogs 😊) and I’m ‘Looking Like a True Survivor, Feeling Like a Little Kid’ all thanks to you both.
