Un-Boxing Day II
July 29, 2023

Recently I had ordered some cool Christmas swag from friend Jane Dennis (@janedennis_art) • Instagram photos and videos in the United Kingdom and after it’s arrival, I decided to add a few more pieces to the collection that’ll be joining the others on this year’s tree.

Above my first order from Jane. Yoda is totally awesome along with a lonely single penguin and three mini jelly belly babies, yet to be named. If you have any name suggestions for them, feel free to either email them to me here, send them in contact section or via social media.
Let’s get to ‘Un-Boxing: Part ll’
Jane out did herself once more on the wrapping, making sure the contents wouldn’t break. I never did ask her if I was the only Michigander to have such a collection of her art pieces. so here goes. Hey Jane, am I the only person in Michigan with this collection?
I think they’ll look awesome on the tree, with their cohorts from the previous shipment.
And below, here’s Yoda and the family all together.

I’ll use Yoda as a Watchman for the railway this year and the three Jelly Belly Babies as his assistants.
Little crazy perhaps, but you know what? I’m hanging on to a gift of holiday cheer I had long lost and was given to me once more by someone over the past few years. And to me it’s worth hanging on to, especially in today’s ever-changing climate of ghosting, narcissism and broken friendships. There has to be some good in the world! So why shouldn’t it start with me?
Above, in a YouTube short is last year’s tree with my N Scale Amtrak Train buzzing around it. While below is the tree itself.
Side Note Time: You can tell it’s nearing Boston Trip time if I’m posting my replica Amtrak Train 🙂 This year’s adventure is going to be AWESOME! Stay tuned!

Thats a pretty good-looking Christmas Tree for a single guy to have managed. 2022 is in the rearview mirror, look out cause 2023’s festiveness is going to shine brighter! Especially with the other new ornaments I’ve already purchased and displayed in Cancer Chronicles: Initial Oncology Consultation (still available for reading in my blog) along with a spectacular ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Halmark Ornament dear friend Noi Phimmasanh sent me after last year’s holiday season, below. By the way, that’s her painting on the wall behind me!
