Daily Prompt’s QOTD

Poem’s come from the heart and although I didn’t write this, it says it all. As learning ‘you weren’t mine‘ was the hardest lesson I’ve ever learned.

Because the ‘things you never say‘ said it all. I should have double checked those boxes long before.

In the end ‘I can’t hate you. But I blame you.’ Yet I wish, just once, I could’ve heard, ‘I love(d) you. How you doing? How was your day?’ And (I wish it hadn’t ended this way). However, ‘I know that you’ll never change.’
