and ‘The Dark Side’

Through all the uncertainties of the impending cancer treatment, I woke in a really good mood today, mere days away from having the ‘markers’ put in. And yet all it took were two messages awaiting when I checked my social media sites to make it so. Surely it was ‘The Force’ at work!
If you’ve been following along, you know I set up my ‘Christmas Tree’ a couple weeks back as a means of inspiration. But I’ve went a bit further for the ‘Happiness’ this year.
That added ‘happiness’ will come from the few friends that received a request from me to choose an ornament for me to order and add to the tree. Response has been fantastic, and I’ve already received a few replies. This is turning out to be fun! Can’t wait to see all the replies, definitely will make my tree an original! Thank you to each and every one of you that I’ve sent this request out to, you each hold a special place in my heart!
A dear friend, ‘Loren Nobel’ below, came across this ornament of ‘Ric Olie’ of ‘Star Wars’ fandom, and I had to snag it up from Ebay. from the seller. I wonder if he/she noticed the buyer’s name…
‘Lady Loren’, by the way, can lay claim to ‘Star Wars’ as well. She was the consort of crown Prince Denid of Velmor during the early years of the Galatic Empire, per Wookieepedia.
‘Skywalker’ who later adopted ‘The Dark Side’ and became ‘Darth Vader’ stabbed the commander in the back with a lightsaber and left him dead. Or so Skywalker thought.
For ‘MY’ version of the beginning, most definitely not the end, of the ‘Rest of the Story,’ you’ll have to stay tuned for future blogs.
And this is how I go into the start of cancer treatment. On an upbeat note, I’m not fearing ‘The Dark Side’ any longer, as ‘The Force’ is with me and a spirit of a story leading my way!
