Natalia Kessler Shines at 2023 Ice Dance Championships

I’m going to start the month off with some fantastic news regarding Natalia Kessler, whom I profiled in mid-July ‘Natalia Kessler: From Figure Skating to Artistic Fulfillment.’ The adult figure skater, dancer, artist and former war crimes lawyer is up to her continued success once more! This time on the ice at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York where she won the “2023 Ice Dance Championship” for her age division, this past weekend.

I’m sorry Natalia, I just had to add your training video to the article after our most recent chat, where you said this is the hottest summer you’ve experienced since moving to the states in 2016. As a sign of remorse, I offer you Lake Placid during the winter, below. No pun intended as it was, probably, below zero when the photo was taken.

To Natalia and My Readers:

I had no idea where a simple follow or friendship request would lead to. Certainly not this and the number of readers your story has drawn my way. It’s been my honor. You’re a remarkable woman with absolutely no limits to your abilities.

Yet, I must admit a bit of selfishness here as I’ve thought long and hard about sharing your audio ‘Thank You’ to me after our original story. However, after a considerable amount of soul searching, I’ve decided I want to keep that between us. I hadn’t expected it and to me it’s priceless. I know you’ve read my other blogs and have a sense of what struggles I’ve faced this year. Because of those struggles, that’s why I’m withholding it. For once, I’m keeping something for my own that can’t get sick, won’t require surgery or treatments and most certainly won’t break my heart. I hope you understand.

I just want to say, ‘Thank you’ for sharing your life with not only me, but the world as a whole and remembering ‘The Little Things,’ are what’s important. You’re THE BEST!
