Actually, it gives me an opportunity to ramble on about much of nothing but yet everything. Sheer madness. It&#8217;s there for everyone not just the average person. Let that sink in to all that voted for him. And thank you to decades long media friend and <strong><em>NBC<\/em><\/strong>&#8216;s &#8216;<strong><em>Meet the Press<\/em><\/strong>&#8216; host <strong><em>Kristin Welker<\/em><\/strong>, for asking him the question and the constitution for allowing me to write it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sean Diddy Combs&#8217; trial for sex trafficking is coming to a head with jury selection this week. Part of the very constitution POTUS is violating even after the 9-0 SCOTUS ruling ordered him to return a man from El Salvador that was illegally deported for violating his &#8216;<strong><em>Due Process<\/em><\/strong>&#8216;. I&#8217;m worried about the Combs trial, because I know too many folks in the LA area that could&#8217;ve fallen victim to his bullshit. But remember he&#8217;s innocent until proven guilty. The very substance of &#8216;due process.&#8217; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Writing lets me add this out of the blue as well. To my long-lost friend that was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein and gave up everyone close to her for a new start. Know you&#8217;re still thought of fondly and loved. I&#8217;ll always be here for you but fully understand your decision. It brought a smile to my face that&#8217;s still here this morning. We were discussing people and changes, mainly me, when she said, &#8220;<strong><em>Whenever I think of my adventure on threads and feel like I didn&#8217;t really get everything out of it that I could have, I think of the friendship I got with you. It was all worth it.<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; We wouldn&#8217;t have met if I hadn&#8217;t been hurt so badly to return to writing. That freedom afforded me one of the greatest friendships ever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then there was the subtle reminder that read like this. &#8220;<strong><em>I think that the pain (of losing her) has pushed you to do great things and meet many wonderful new people<\/em><\/strong>.&#8221; It&#8217;s author shining light on how far I&#8217;ve come over the past couple years of pain and grief while writing about others and my own losses, personal battles and shortcomings. Yes, writing did that too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Writing helps you too. Imagine not being able to tell someone in words, &#8220;<strong><em>I don\u2019t think (you&#8217;re) too nice I think you\u2019re the right amount of nice<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; to your best-friend after you&#8217;ve asked if you&#8217;re too nice to people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other writings that have crossed my path have included things like, &#8220;<strong><em>Happy Thankful Thursday, Rick! I\u2019m grateful for your friendship. Have a great day<\/em><\/strong>.&#8221; Followed up by someone else saying, &#8220;<strong><em>Every time I remember you, I smile<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; and &#8220;<strong><em>Thanks, Rick! That&#8217;s so kind of you. I appreciate you and I think you rock!<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The freedom of writing can bring smiles, sadness, love and heartbreak. It can tell a story from start to finish and offer news and hope. It can heal, as in my case. It can deliver and cost us friendships too. It can cut like a knife or soothe a child to sleep. There is no other freedom, in my opinion, that can do as much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now my &#8216;<strong><em>Writing&#8217;s on the Wall<\/em><\/strong>&#8216; where it belongs for all to read and I leave you with one last message from a reader &#8220;<strong><em>You&#8217;re such an inspiration and the most bravest and beautiful soul!
