\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0As much as this piece is about me, it’s also about others that have come into my life, each at a unique time. A time that has brought me happiness, joy, friendship and support throughout this year and years past. A couple ‘old timers’ added in with a couple ‘newbies,’ this blog is for you! \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I<\/strong>\u00a0wish I had the foresight to have gotten a photo of the crowd waiting outside of\u00a0Boston’s ‘TD Garden’\u00a0<\/strong>as I walked up to the event last night for the\u00a0Lionel Richie<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0Earth Wind and Fire<\/strong>\u00a0concert. Below is a photo of the buildings entrance from frontofficesports.com. It’s tucked away in-between two buildings on either side, with steps leading up to the area itself. Even my own photos of last year’s visit do it no justice.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0On arrival, folks were standing in clusters. Big clusters. Some looked like they had formed a line that would end before leading anywhere. I got in the end of one that appeared to have a lead. But eventually when we were allowed to walk up the steps, about a half hour after arriving, everyone seemed to do their own thing. You know the old saying,\u00a0‘When in Rome.’<\/strong>\u00a0I certainly don’t have all that ‘Boston Moxi,’ but when it comes to getting into a venue like this, they’re just like Detroiters. I shifted into ‘just do it’\u00a0<\/strong>mode.\u00a0Detroit vs Everybody.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Actually, it wasn’t that bad.\u00a0<\/strong>I just felt a need for some theatrics. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In front of me and below behind me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I’m just now noticing how none of them look so happy. Maybe because I was laughing at the entire mess. I have my own demons, but knowing when to shut them off works wonders when I can manage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0My seat wasn’t that bad. Same level, different spot as Red Wings vs Bruins last October, where I was at center ice. I could look straight ahead and see the performances.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Then it happened. Earth Wind and Fire came out. I like their music but nowhere near the fan of them as Lionel. But boys and girls, they did put on a show for the first hour plus and were every bit of great as billed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
