And they&#8217;re not all connected to abandoning due to health reasons like water skiing or scuba diving. The biggest activity I seem to have given up on is dating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dating has become a mess. And if it&#8217;s resigned to be this, I want no part of it especially when I see people connecting because of &#8216;contractual agreements&#8217; such as moving to a nicer home or marrying for physical gratifications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve seen so many good people settling for total jackass opposites only to have their world crumble down not long after and then wonder why it happened. It happened because they weren&#8217;t &#8216;in love.&#8217; They only knew &#8216;of love.&#8217; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7HuiYBtoIhE?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=es-MX&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong><em>Treat Me Like Somebody: Tink<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an attempt to cure my woes of dating I even went the therapy route. Honestly, a therapist is the easiest person to fall for. I&#8217;d go out with any of three I&#8217;ve worked with in a heartbeat. Why? Because they care. But I&#8217;m smart enough to know that would be as dangerous as asking my doctor on a date. Oh gee, yeah, I went there too. And I&#8217;ll stop there because they all read my blogs as does a lawyer and married woman. This is where my life has been led and why I don&#8217;t date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seriously send me your take on dating in this generation. I&#8217;d love to do an in-depth article on it. Maybe we can get a better understanding of what we&#8217;re really after and what we are looking for in a spouse whether its love, material things or simply sexual gratification.
