Daily Prompt’s Question <\/em><\/strong>of the day is…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Write about a time when you didn’t take action but wish you had. What would you do differently?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every action or lack thereof always creates its own outcome. But thinking ‘what if ‘<\/em><\/strong> I had told her sooner that I loved her, maybe she would’ve chosen me is a sad way to live life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I had, I wouldn’t have returned to writing, as it has been a catalyst for my healing journey. Which by the way, is going rather well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is here I remember an old quote spoken by former speaker of the house, John Boehner. “If if’s and ands and buts were candy and nuts, everyday would-be Christmas,” he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phrase dates back to the 17th Century and I simply refuse to live in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
