Here&#8217;s my take on what I believe is the movie of the year. But in a different light. But everything to do with friendships and how we&#8217;re let down because of them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TZ0pXUb5jVU?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=es-MX&#038;autohide=2&#038;start=10&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">In the sequel to last year&#8217;s hit movie &#8216;<strong><em>Wicked<\/em><\/strong>&#8216; Glinda, again, was the <strong><em>biggest loser<\/em><\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">For the love of animals, Elphaba was ostracized to a life of loneliness into the forest. Only to have hatred follow her as the <strong><em>Cowardly Lion<\/em><\/strong>, who she had freed as a cub, didn&#8217;t appreciate his freedom enough to become an adult and missed his oppressors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Then there&#8217;s <strong>Munchkin<\/strong> boy, <strong><em>Boq<\/em><\/strong>. He played on Elphaba&#8217;s sisters&#8217; feelings of love but only when he couldn&#8217;t have Glinda for his own. <strong><em>Nessarose<\/em><\/strong>, the sister, tried casting a spell on him to stay, only to turn her love into a <strong><em>Tin Man<\/em><\/strong> without a heart..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Nessarose, dubbed now as <strong><em>The Wicked Witch of the East<\/em><\/strong>, is later flattened by a <strong><em>farmhouse<\/em><\/strong> during a <strong><em>storm<\/em><\/strong> that was cast by <strong><em>Madame Morrible<\/em><\/strong>. Morrible created the storm after listening to a crazy idea to draw Elphaba out by Glinda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">There&#8217;s, also, <strong><em>Fiyero<\/em><\/strong> who&#8217;s caught up in a <strong><em>love triangle<\/em><\/strong> between Glinda and Elphaba only to become a <strong><em>brainless<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Scarecrow<\/em><\/strong>. Glinda wants him for her own. But the love between he and Elphaba has never weaned from meeting in Wicked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">From knowing that <strong><em>Oz<\/em><\/strong> is her <strong><em>father<\/em><\/strong> and the friend that she cherishes most had given away her last meaningful possession, the very shoes on her sisters crushed body, she still loved. In fact, she loved enough to give her very life to protect that friend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Lesson to Be Learned from &#8216;Wicked: For Good&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re riding around in a &#8216;<strong><em>Floating Bubble<\/em><\/strong>&#8216; thinking you&#8217;re almighty like Oz himself, remember the people you&#8217;ve hurt along the way. Then maybe that &#8216;<strong><em>change for good<\/em><\/strong>&#8216; can be turned into &#8216;<strong><em>change for the better<\/em><\/strong>.&#8217; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t be a Glinda. Rather be an Elphaba. In doing so, you&#8217;ll gain <strong><em>courage<\/em><\/strong>, a <strong><em>heart<\/em><\/strong> that beats, and <strong><em>wisdom<\/em><\/strong> to respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Come back and tell me your thoughts after viewing the movie.
