Hell of a thought, for sure

I’ve recently begun a transformation process through therapy and meditation to help define my character flaws.

Kindness is at the top of that list and needs to be addressed.

Like most givers (linked to kindness) with humble upbringings, I tend to not want others to sgiversandtakersuffer as I had. But this generation has taken its toll on my generosity and time.

I’ve never had an issue with giving for a good cause. And will never regret gifting friends that are no longer around. For at the time, and even to this day, there was and still is love for them.

Time, on the other hand, is irreplaceable. That’s my focal point. Making sure the person or people I share it with are of the same mindset. I don’t make friendships for the season. I want friendships that last a lifetime, as life is too short as it is.

What’s hurt me is leaving the ones that have abused that generosity. And the ones disappearing like ghosts after years of friendships.

To the later I’d still do anything for you. As I have unconditional love and I’m willing to be here ‘Time after Time‘.

Life is a lesson with highs and lows. The trick is to learn to navigate it with the ones you care for. Do not navigate it with the ones you care less for.
